The 5th International Conference on Advanced Technology in Civil Engineering towards Sustainable Development (ATCESD 2026), hosted by the University of Danang – University of Science and Technology (DUT-UD) in cooperation with the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations (VFCEA), is a premier forum dedicated to advancing green, digital, and sustainable solutions in the built environment.
Building on the success of its previous editions in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2024, ATCESD 2026 will bring together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and graduate students to exchange innovative research, share best practices, and foster technology transfer in civil engineering.
The conference will feature diverse themes ranging from coastal and water resource management, climate-change adaptation, and sustainable planning to construction materials, geotechnical and structural engineering, project management, transportation, urban infrastructure, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Taking place on 3–4 July 2026 at the Smart Building, DUT-UD, Da Nang, Viet Nam, the event is expected to gather around 150 participants, including keynote speakers, technical presenters, and representatives from government and industry.
In addition to the technical sessions, ATCESD 2026 will showcase an industry exhibition of cutting-edge technologies and provide publication opportunities in the Journal of Science and Technology (UD). Marking the 50th anniversary of the Construction discipline at DUT-UD, this edition of
ATCESD will be both a celebration of academic heritage and a platform to shape a more resilient and sustainable future.
